March! The month of madness and school spring breaks! For me, it’s also the month where it really starts to feel like a new year. The weather is warming (for us in Oklahoma at least) and the days are starting to get longer. You can just feel all the sunshine and new growth coming your way. I love it all! Except the whole spring ahead time nonsense. The time change kills me every time.
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing all things Mistress of Death! I’ve put together some extras and I’m excited to share them with you! I’ve got a deleted scene, interview, and a giveaway. I hope you’re looking forward to it as much as I am! So keep an eye on your mailbox!
The Glass Palace News
June 15th is fast approaching and I’ll be sharing this wonderful novel with you! It’s 1890’s our world but slightly different and loosely based on the fairytale East of the Sun, West of the Moon. It’s got adventure, an arranged marriage, a curse, and of course true love. Here’s a little bit about the story!
Since childhood Astrid has been betrothed to a man she has never met. When tragedy strikes and she is left without her family the mysterious fiancé finally sends for her. She crosses continents to reach this stranger, stepping into a world full of magic and danger.
Tyhr has lived for years in the shadow of a curse - tiger by day, man by night. It was pure luck that brought him into contact with Astrid’s father and he made a offer the man couldn’t refuse. But he’s running out of time. The possibility that Astrid might be able to set him free is exhilarating but first he has to win her trust and hopefully her heart.
The train had taken her as far east as it was possible to go. Beyond this point impassable mountains rose, steep and dark, huge figures against the clear sky; giants, masters of the landscape. At the base Novgorod stood, the town huddled together against the snow, lights flickering here and there, a fallen constellation scattered across the earth.
I had a chance to talk to Marnie recently about the first book in her new series. If you’re a fan of paranormal and enjoy a slow burn romance with a strong female lead this is for you! I can’t recommend it enough! Read the interview here!
Have you read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier? Or watched the most recent adaptation on Netflix? It’s been favorite novel of mine since I was a teen. In the very near future there will be another episode of Fireside Fables were we discuss it. I’ve also written a little bit about my love for it and how I’ve come to see it over the years. If you’re a fan too I’d love to hear what you think of it! Read the blogpost here!

Last but not least I have some awesome giveaways to share with you! These are full of great reads and amazing finds! Check them out!
